Hay-Ku of the Day (Waking Up to the Aware Presence of Being I Am Here and Now)

Shifting Focus from
Thought to the Aware Presence
Of Being I Am.

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee : because he trusteth in thee." Isaiah 26:3 KJV

Waiting upon the
Lord as the Aware Presence
Of Being I Am.

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31 KJV

Relaxing focus
And resting in this felt sense
Of Being I Am.

"The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms..." Deuteronomy 33:27 KJV

Opening focus
And merging in this felt sense
Of Presence I Am.

"Keep in mind the feeling I am, merge in it, till mind and feeling are one." -- Sri Nisargadatta

[Rich Note: This series of cross-triangulating haiku were directly inspired by Bentinho Massaro's simple, yet utterly effective, suggestion to, "Relax focus for two to five seconds and notice what remains" (and, thereby, "waking-up" to "Being  the Awareness" you "Always Already Are" (in "Spirit and Truth") and, so, can never not be).]
