Haiku of the Day (Boundless Space)

Awake to Being
The Boundless, Clear Sky at the
Heart of Awareness.

Awake to Being
The Boundless Space of Clear Sky
At the Heart of All.

Awake to Being
The Boundless Space of Clear Sky
Awareness Itself.

Hay-Ku of the Day (A Divine Calling)

Reintegrating
Relative Perspectives is
A Divine Calling.

“A dual state of mind projects its relative limits in much the same way that looking through a pair of binoculars projects its circular limits. The mental screen of relative words and thoughts through which we look is similarly projected on the limitless horizons of consciousness. What we see is real, though the mental boundaries we unwittingly project are not. From this one might surmise that life is really some form of self-projection, both individual and collective, and that the world serves as a mirror in which it reflects. In this regard, both Scripture, which declares, "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he . . ." (Pr.23:7), and quantum physics, which concludes that "the observer conditions his observations," bear witness to the likelihood of this premise.”

[Introductory metaphor to “Out of My Mind and Back to My Senses” (OOMM), Chapter 7, “Purify Your Hearts Ye Double Minded.”]

Hay-Ku of the Day (Being Mentally Still)

Being Still extends
Mental focal length to an
Infinite degree.

Being Still extends
Mental focal length to an
Absolute Degree.

Relaxing mental
Focus to an Absolute
Degree is the Way.

***

Being Mentally
Still extends Mental Focal
Length Infinitely.

Being Mentally
Still equates to a Boundless
State of Awareness.

Being Mentally
Still equates to a Boundless
Field of Awareness.

***

Being Still equates
To Infinite Focal Length
And Breadth of Vision.

Stillness equates to
Both Infinite Focal Length
And Breadth of Vision.

***

Knowing God requires
An Infinite Focal Length
And Breadth of Vision.

Self-Knowing requires
An Infinite Focal Length
And Breadth of Vision.

(1) Related OOMM Oldies:

To See Harmony
In Chaos or God in Man
Be Mentally Still.

Only a Still Mind
Reflects a Perfect Image
Of Divine Glory.

***

In Silent Stillness
I become That which I Am
In Spirit and Truth.

I must Be Still and
Silent to Know I Am One
With the Absolute.

***

Being Consciously
Still is how to Know I Am
One with the Father.

Being Here and Now
Still and Silent as I Am
One with the Father.

***

Being Here and Now
Still and Silent as I Am
Mindful of the Light.

To “Be Still and Know
That I Am God” . . . is the “Way
The Truth and the Life.”

(2) Scripture-Wise:

“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10 KJV

“... for I am God, and not man; the Holy One in the midst of thee...” Hosea 11:9 KJV

“And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” Mark 4:39 KJV

(3) Metaphysical Metaphor-Wise:

**80. Infinite Velocity: “That which reaches infinite velocity has the capacity to be everywhere present because it can go from here to everywhere and back in no time. Equally capable of such omnipresence behavior would be a state of absolute stillness, which, being perfectly empty of internal movement, would offer no resistance, and so instantaneously interpenetrate all space in no time. So, given that two things equal to a third must be equal to each other, what is the common ground or denominator of these seemingly opposite conditions (movement and stillness) that would allow both to achieve omnipresence? The answer is actually quite simple, the "absolute, unitary or singular” nature of each (and every other state of being that achieves and/or restores original oneness) is the common factor or ground! For that which is absolute is, by definition, everywhere present in itself and, as such, omnipresent; and it is only at the level of said "Absolute’s” relatives (or subsystems), that there could ever seem to be such a capacity as "infinite velocity", seen from the perspective of time, or "absolute stillness", from the perspective of space.” 1992; u/d 6/12/03.

Hay-Ku of the Day (Perfect Knowledge)

1) Haiku-Wise:

Re: "You WILL know it without knowing." -- Pedro Cortina

That's "Knowing without
Knowing" by Virtue of One's
"Being What Is Known."

Knowing by Virtue
Of Being That Which Is Known
Is Perfect Knowledge.

***

Knowing by Virtue
Of Being What is Known is
Knowing Inside-Out.

Knowing that I Am
By Virtue of Being That
From the Inside-Out.

***

Knowing That I Am
Awareness by Virtue of
Being Awareness.

Knowing by Virtue
Of Being What One Knows is
Non-Dual Awareness.

(2) Scripture-Wise:

Re: Short Form (Paraphrased): "...KNOWING,  Face to Face, even as I AM KNOWN."

Re: Long Form:  "...For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

"But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

"When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

"For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known." (1 Corinthians 13:9-12 KJV)

(3) Metaphor-Wise:

**33. Perfect Knowledge: Absolute knowledge – knowledge that is whole, complete and perfect -- can only come from actually becoming that which one wishes to know. As such, it would be knowledge that embraces, not only the circumference, but the center, not only the outer, but and the inner, not only the object, but the subject. Otherwise it would always leave the inner nature of that which one seeks to know out. In this regard, while I may know myself in this manner, from the inside and out, I may never know you to the same degree while I maintain a conceptual assumption of being outside of and other than you. For only if I were to become one and simultaneous with you, identical with you, in conscious union with you, could I know you perfectly (from the inside out) even as I am known. As such, only knowledge based on essential unity and oneness -- the knowledge of identity -- can ever be absolute and thus perfect. 3/24/96 U/D; 4/03

Hay-Ku of the Day (A Seminal, Jody Kish, Street Guy Story)

Why walk away from
A twenty-year plus business
To follow your dream?

The following linked You Tube is for old friends, who requested addition audios, and new friends who enjoyed Jody's "Parting Message" and "Anna's Eulogy" You Tubes, here's another Jody Kish, "Street Guy Story" --  and if you knew Jody, you know he loved telling stories.  This one's a spontaneous, seminal story about events that led up to the moment Jody literally walked away from more then 20 years as the innovative owner/operator of "Marks Cigars" in Ocean City, NJ, to follow a dream; and, ultimately, to find out who he was, why he was here, and why things are the way they are.

Simply Noticing
I Am Awareness Being
Aware of Itself.

***

Simply Noticing
I Am Aware of Being
Awareness Itself.

Simply Noticing
I Am Awareness Being

***

"Am I Aware" of
The "Awareness of Being"
Or "Being Alone"?

Am I "Aware of
Being Awareness" instead
Of mental content?

In forgetting to
Stay "Aware of Awareness"
I get lost in Thought.

***

Noticing I Am
Aware of What Presently
Appears to Exist.

Noticing I Am
Aware of Whatever is
Appearing in mind.
