Hay-Ku of Day (Living Silence)

A Palpable Sense
Of Silence reunites Heart
Mind, Body and Soul.

A Tangible Sense
Of Silence unites Heart, Mind
Body and Spirit.

A Living Silence
Bridges the gap between Mind,
Body and Spirit.

"Now, let us enter
The Silence" uniting Heart,
Mind, Body and Soul.

RE1: "The most basic experience of Silence is intimacy. We feel an intimacy with the world, as if we are within everything around us rather than behind or alongside things that we are then looking at. This mantle of touch brings us to the living truth of our being. We know who we are in a completely non-self-conscious way. We feel how we, in our individuality, are part of a vast and mysterious world process. And when we cultivate Silence to the point that we are consciously within it rather than imagining that it is in us, we cannot be other than we are. The imagination of it being within us emanates from the loss of the touch of Silence, for without sensing this intimate touch we too easily think we are whatever we want to be or others want us to be. Silence keeps us intimately bound with the truth of our being, constantly conveying to us in a bodily way that our individual and unique presence as soul, spirit, and body intermingles " with the world and, at the same time, lives a free and independent existence."

(From "Silence - The Mystery of Wholeness" by Robert Sardello)

RE2: In the act of meditation, as in the act of adoration, silence is our highest praise. Let us keep our silent sanctuaries, for in them the eternal perspectives." -- Neville Goddard

[Rich Note: Neville routinely ended of his lectures with, "Now, let us enter the Silence."]

Hay-Ku of the Day (Old Favorites List 7 Plus 3)

Consciousness:

Mind depends on the
Thought process to exist while
Consciousness does not.

What do you know that
Does not arise as a state
Of your Consciousness?

How can what you see
Be other than a State of
Your own Consciousness?

Consciousness is a
Vibratory State of the
Awareness You Are.

The Gap between One
Thought and Another is the
Consciousness You Are.

"Consciousness is All
There Is” and “You Are That” is
What the "Sages Say."

The space between one
Thought and another is the
Consciousness you are.

Worshipping ideas
Above the Consciousness in
Which they arise?

Mind based science is
Blind to the Consciousness in
Which thought arises.

The Everlasting Light
Of Awareness dawns with the
Setting of self-thought.

Awareness wed to
Sensory Presence becomes
Conscious as I Am.

Is there anything
That you have to do to be
Present and Aware?

Plus:

If Consciousness is
A Perquisite for Life
It's a Name for God.

If Consciousness is
Fundamental to All
Then I must Be That.

Is it possible for
Anything to Be without
Awareness thereof?

Haiku of the Day (Old Favorites List 6)

Attention:

In attending to
That which is looking I see
Myself as I Am.

Focusing on my
End of the Perceptual
Stick what do I see?

What is seen when I
Attend to my end of the
Perceptual stick?

Is there a “face” on
Your “end of perception” or
Only Awake Space?

Attention resting
In the "Source of the next thought"
Is Open to Grace.

Attention focused
On the "Source of the next thought"
Is a Gateless Gate.

Is your Attention
On What You Really Are or
A mental story?

Let attention rest
In the conscious space between
Impulse and action.

[Rich Note: "Notice the source of the next thought" was a "skillful means" once suggested by Jackie O'Keeffe.]

Hay-Ku of the Day (Giving Is Receiving)

Empty of Self-thought
I Am the “Holy Grail” through
Which the Father Flows.

[Rich Note: This cross-correlative, triangulating, creative flow was inspired ("In-Spirit-I-ated" is better) by the following Dr. Pedro Cortina, Spiritually Pregnant, Contemplative, Seed Question:

"Why share it?  Why not just go up to the mountain cave and chill?" ]

Re: "Why share it...?"

(1) Haiku-Wise:

Because the Nature
Of Light is to Shine and I
Am a Child Light.

Because the Light of
Awareness is Magnified
If shared with others.

(2) Worldly-Wise:

Because IT IS
Community Property.

(3) Joy-Wise:

"Yreka" is the Shout of Joy that alerts Divine Sisters and Bothers that One has re-discovered a Lost Family Jewel.

(4) Peak Experience-Wise:

The Super Bowl Syndrome: The MVP of the Super Bowl was once always asked "How does it feel to win the SB and be the MVP?" (an obvious "Mountain Top or Peak Experience," from a very worldly perspective).

Inevitably, said winner would respond (something to the effect of): "I've never had a feeling like this before, it's unbelievable, indescribable and I wish everyone could experience this."

Well, that last part of the answer comes from an "intuitive knowing" that Divine Joy (as reflected in Peak Experiences and seen from a bottom-up perspective) is an "Energetic Flow State"; that has to be "shared or so given away to others," in order to be kept flowing [ergo: Jesus' counter intuitive (at least to the carnal minded or old man) that "we must give to receive").

Ultimately, said Flow States are a perfectly natural result of a moment of Absolute Desirelessness and the Holistic or Unitive Condition of Mind and Selfless Consciousness so implied (that Opens the Flow in the First Place).

Then, of course, at some point, "double-minded, relative, self-reflective, divided, carnal-minded, self-focused and absorbed thinking" comes "back on line," as the center of one's attention,  and once again dams-up the Natural Divine Flow of Life, Light, Love, Joy and Peace (that would otherwise exist without "me, myself and I" as a "mental echo," or the "story of me as a mental shroud or overlay," blocking IT or THAT from Present Minded Awareness).

All of which, Super Bowl Syndrome-wise, is a  "reversion to a habitual form of self-referenced mental precessing " that was once iconically characterized  by the SB related, commercialized question: "What are you going to do next?" and the mental winner's (loser actually) mentally conditioned or self-patterned response, "I'm going to Disney World!"

(5) Musically Speaking-Wise:

Here's  musical rendition called Desert Pete that makes the same point of our Being Channels or Vessels for the Conveyance of an Never-Ending Flow of Divine Life, Light, Love, Joy and Peace; once We transcend Our programmed and conditioned belief in being "mere finite, temporal containers" (get over ourselves and out of our own way and into God's Endlessly Self-Giving Way) of said Life, Light and Love.

(6) Scripture Wise:

"Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again." Luke 6:38 KJV

"...For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more..." Luke 12:48 KJV
