[Rich Note: Companion image may be viewed at rfhay333.gather.com.]

(The Grave Personified)

The Grave Personified (1805, Wikimedia Commons) A visual rendition of “Oh, grave where is thy victory, Oh death where is thy sting” (1 Col. 15:55) by my favorite English Mystic, William Blake, who was buried in a “dissenters cemetery"; Companion haiku: If “the Real can’t die and the unreal never lives” death is a shadow.

If “the Real can’t die
And the unreal never lives”
No One really dies.

If “the Real can’t die
And the unreal never lives”
Death loses its sting.

Hay-Ku of the Day (Seeing Seeing)

(Seeing Photograph)

Seeing (2010); We don’t really see with our eyes, we see patterns of light energy the retina turns into electrical impulses, the brain converts into perceptual images in consciousness, the mind then conceptualizes as being something seen out there; Companion haiku: Seeing I am the Seeing frees me from the thought I am what I think.

Seeing I am the
Seeing frees me from thinking
I am the thinker.

Seeing I am the
Seeing frees me from the thought
I am subject to.

Seeing I am the
Seeing frees me from all I
Ever imagined.

(Waz-zat? Photograph)

Waz-zat? (2010); Close-up illustrating how little or no focal-length, breadth of vision, mental space and leverage severely degrades apprehension, perception and conception; Companion haiku: Accompanying.

Zero mental space
Or leverage while thinking
That I am thinking.

No focal length or
Breadth of vision while thinking
I am the thinker.

Hay-Ku of the Day (Day Dreaming)

(Living the Life Photograph)

Living the Life (2010); Preoccupied with self-thought I spend much more time dreaming (aka: thinking) about Being than I do Living the Life; Ergo: “Awake thou that sleepeth, arise from the dead and Christ shall give thee Light”(Ep 5:14).

Preoccupied with
Self-thought because I mistake
Thinking for Being.

Preoccupied with
Self-thought because I believe
I am the thinker.
