Hay-Ku of the Day (Daily Meds, Part 2 of 4)

Shifting focus from
Thought to the Aware Presence
Of Being I Am.

Shifting focus from
Mind to the Open Focus
Awareness I Am.

Shifting focus from
Self to the Open Hearted
Awareness I Am.

Shifting focus from
Self-thought to the Awareness
Of Being I Am.

Shifting focus from
Thinking to the Awareness
Of Being I Am.

Shifting Focus from
Presence to the Transparent
Awareness I Am.

Shifting Focus from
Being to the Transparent
Awareness I Am.

Hay-Ku of the Day ("Walk On!")

(1) First:

For those who are still
"Emotionally disturbed"
By Trump's win: "Walk On!"

(2) Second: With respect Rage:

The very rage you
Feel towards Trump is the rage you
Rage against in him.

(3) Third - With respect to God.

Any God that is
Other than I AM is not
Absolutely One.

The question is not
Whether there is a God but
Who's playing the role.***

The "Word God" is a
"Perfectly Good Word" and does
Not need to be trashed.

(***The "role" of God is "One of Being" the "Central Originating, Orienting, Organizing and Operating Principle of All Creation or Existence" -- and the ego can only seemingly hijack three of those.)

(4) Forth: With respect to Homework:

Suggested reading for "theists and atheists" ("enlightened of the illusion of self or not") alike:

[Rich Note: For those who might still be mistaking  an "idea or concept" of God (as a "pointing finger") for the "Undeniable Nature and Reality of Any and All Being," the word God only represents (the "moon the finger is only pointing out"), I would suggest reading "2+ 2 = Reality" by William Samuel, the book from which the following extract comes from:

"...It must be pointed out that these are not valid arguments against the existence of God but are, rather, arguments against old concepts of God, old ideas about God and old practices that pervade all organized religions today.

"I am yet to meet an agnostic or atheist who cannot accept the existence and presence of God once we agree on just what Reality is. Usually, atheists deny and agnostics doubt the actuality of God as they understand and define God. They are quite right, because God as they define Him could not possibly exist. But God as God is, is neither doubted nor denied by a single man on this earth and never has been. God, as God is, is accepted without question, even without resistance, by everyone because God is the very basis of being, the fact of real existence. Why, God is Life itself. Show me an atheist who will deny he is alive!

"The doubters and deniers are invariably throwing rocks at their own misconceptions of God, at the usual definitions of God, or at the generally accepted idea of what God can do. I am quick to agree that the popular idea of God is incorrect and that such a God does not exist—and never has. But God, as God is, does exist as a very present Reality and as the undeniable basis of Existence. Truth, Reality, Fact exists. This is all that really does exist right here, right now.

"The agnostic is not questioning Fact; he is questioning a misstatement about Fact. The misstatement has nothing to do with Fact at all, just as the incorrect statement 2 plus 2 is 5 has nothing to do with the fact of arithmetic. A man is blind who breaks with Fact itself and doubts its existence just because an individual or an organization makes a misstatement in the name of Fact.

"You no longer need be concerned with the many misstatements of others. You can determine what Fact is to yourself and stay there. As you do this you find yourself less concerned about what is not Fact and much more concerned with the Infinite Fact of Perfect Being ITSELF..."

Hay-Ku of the Day ("Life Comes through You not to You")

Mind's mechanistic
Gears sculpt the Light of Insight
Into vibrant form.

Mind doesn't create
Insights it processes them for
Outer Expression.

***

The Heartfelt Insight
A Light Bulb suggests is not
Thought into Being.

Mind is a mid-wife
Not the father or mother
That births an Insight.

[Rich Note: "Life Comes through You not to You" is a Syd Banks related summary insight. Also, worth noting, is that the "Dawning Light of Direct Insight" (or Wisdom) I see the Light Bulb in the accompanying image as representing, would be more accurately depicted if located in the Heart, as a direct Ray of the Sun, rather than in the Head, as secondary or reflected Ray as Moonlight.]

Hay-Ku of the Day (This is Really Simple)

How you think about
Things determines how you feel
And act towards them.

Assuming myself
To be other than I Am
Is a false premise.

***

To Be made in God's
Image is to become
What I think I am.

I Am Heir to First
Cause Creativity
As a Child of Light.

***

I Am whatever
I believe until I stop
Imagining that.

Thinking causes me
To imagine that I am
Other than I AM.

***

Thinking of myself
In relative terms I am
Subject to objects.

I am subject to
Mental objects because I
Believe that I am.

***

To imagine I
Am other than I Am is
Original Sin.

Believing I am
Other than I Am is why
I feel separate.

***

Believing I am
Other than I Am is the
Reason I suffer.

Believing myself
To be other than I Am
Is suffering's root.

Hay-Ku of the Day ("Thank You for Making the Truth Plain!")

"Letting Go" of "what
I am not" is the "one way"
To "Be What I Am."

***

I can only know
What I am through the contrast
Of what I am not.

An inverse process
Of knowing what I am not
Shows me what I Am.

***

Knowing what I am
Through an inverse process of
Knowing what I'm not.

Only in the Face
Of Darkness can the Full Light
Of Awareness Dawn.

***

Darkness offers the
Contrast needed to realize
Awareness Itself.

Darkness provides the
Contrast needed to know the
Light of Awareness.

***

Apparent Darkness
Is a catalyst for the
Light of Awareness

Apparent darkness
Catalyzes Light into
Conscious Awareness.

Apparent darkness
Is a catalyst for the
Birth of Living Light.

***

As "an eye can't see
Itself," nor can "I as the
Light of Awareness."

Apparent absence
Of the Light of Awareness
Implies Its Presence.

Scripture-Wise:

"And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." Genesis 1:2 KJV

"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." 2 Corinthians 4:6 KJV

Bill Samuel-Wise:

"...I began to learn the principle of contradistinction which suggests that everything but the light of Life itself is an image, positive or negative, of Something Greater. That everything points first to its contrary, thence to the Balance between, thence to the Something Beyond, transcendent and immanent simultaneously..." -- Bill Samuel

RE2: Bill's "L'Lijah the Luminious Lightening Bug -- a lovely natural Illustration of contradistinction:

Hay-Ku of the Day ("Through a Glass Darkly; but Then Face to Face)

To play the devil,
"Treat a half-truth as whole" and
Act accordingly.

To play the devil,
"Treat a half-truth as whole" and
Pretend to be God.

Re: "...I think the Electoral College has appointed Satan!" (the "closing shot" of a happy birthday wish from an old flying buddy)

"It is treating a half-truth as whole that plays the devil." -- Alfred North Whitehead (paraphrased)

"Leave the mirror and change your face. Leave the world alone and change your conceptions of yourself." -- Neville Goddard

https://www.dropbox.com/s/d12izx0jxx0dqeh/the_power_of_awareness-neville-goddard%20%281%29.pdf?dl=0

"For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known." 1 Corinthians 13:12 KJV

"By inner humility plus wisdom, the seeker of truth takes serious note of the inherent limitations of the human psyche itself and no longer relies on the impressionable personal ego as its sole arbiter of truth." -- Dr. David R.Hawkins

PS1: The "operative word" in the preceding statement on the D-EVIL/LIVE (which is believing and so taking a relative reflection of Reality to be absolutely real and living accordingly) is  "...I think..."; which is itself a  process based solely on a "programmed (and one might call cherished or worshipful) belief" in the "partial and fallible report" of "relative thought, sense and feeling."

PS2:  Given this principle,  "If you wish to know the Truth of the matter, all you need do is reverse (per the implicit reversal principle of the reflective mental optics suggested above) the commonly agreed upon, collective human view of things" -- a principle originally referred to many years ago as the "180 Degree Out Theory."

PS3: As for a logical, intellectually honest and friendly presentation of the "how's and whys" of the operation of said Principle in form, I would suggest reading (or listening to) "Power vs. Force, The Hidden Determinants of  Human Behavior" by Dr. David R. Hawkins, as it really "de-spooks" the Holy Ghost or Spirit.

PS4: Although "Power vs. Force" affords a more academic treatment, the Audible compilation entitled "The Ultimate David Hawkins Library," affords a more "cut to the chase, broad brush, and humorous treatment":

Hay-Ku of the Day (To Know I Am)

To Know I Am and
Just Be That is the Headstone
The Builders reject.

Prophetically Speaking:

"...I have had it with time and truth that bends. When it topples and shatters the capstone the builders accepted will be exposed for all to see and the one they rejected who is me.." -- (from a "prophetic word" just encountered that dovetails with the 10 plus year old haiku shared above)

Scripturally Speaking:

"Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?" Matthew 21:42 KJV

Hay-Ku of the Day (God as a Cosmic Mainframe)

The brain is a meat
Computer incapable
Of self-programming.

The Subconscious
Mind is just another Name
For what some call God.

The "human mind" is
A remote terminal on
A Cosmic Mainframe.

**79. CRT and Main Frame II: As Alexander Maltz, who wrote a book entitled “Psycho-Cybernetics” once suggested, man's conscious mind may be likened to a local CRT (computer remote terminal) linked to a central and/or cosmic mainframe. In this regard, that which is called the subconscious mind plays the role of the mainframe computer itself. Consider, for instance, the relative genius of this subconscious mind in the local context of our own bodies, where it simultaneously coordinates and integrates bodily functions too countless to number. Extrapolate this metaphor, first to Jung's idea of the “universal unconscious”, then beyond, to a non-local, all-inclusive state of pure awareness -- a unitary state of consciousness that both includes and transcends it’s own conscious and subconscious components. This, in turn, provides a solid theoretical basis for the innately creative power of mind and consciousness, at any level, across any apparent boundary (local or non-local). For seen in this light, any and all thoughts would automatically become those of the One All Inclusive Mind; and said One Mind’s thoughts (the Mind and/or Consciousness of God, if you will), being unopposed by any other mind or will, would be absolutely creative. UD 12/19/97; 6/12/03.

Hay-Ku of the Day (A Final Word on the 2016 US Presidential Election)

Part I: Outside In-Wise

"Missing the point" if
You're focused on the "ego's
Gone wild" dynamic.

"Choosing" between an
"Overt and Covert Ego"
Is "Missing the Point."

"Covert egos" are
A much greater danger than
"Overt egos" are.

In any event,

The obvious choice
Here is between Freedom and
Government Control.

Part 2: Inside Out-Wise

To anyone now
Sucked into this battle of
Personalities.

To people being
Drawn into this contest of
Egocentric wills.

To normal egos
Hoodwinked into this war of
Iconic extremes.

"...Set yourselves, stand ye
Still and see the Salvation
Of the Lord with You..."

"Ye shall not need to fight in this battle : set yourselves, stand ye still , and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you." 2 Chronicles 20:17 KJV

Part 3: No Way-Wise

Being Mentally
Still and Silent as I Am
Is the Middle Way.

Being Mentally
Still and Silent as I Am
Is One's Salvation.

Being Here and Now
Still and Silent as I Am
One with the Father.

"Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth." Psalm 46:10 KJV

[Rich Note: A "heathen," at least seen from here, would be one who believes in "no power greater then him or herself," as relatively conceived, experienced, imagined or thought into being.]

Hay-Ku of the Day (The Donald and Hillary Conundrum)

I get angry at
People who reflect the things
I hate in myself.

What I deny in
Myself are the very things
I hate in others.

The anger we feel
Towards those who reflect what we
Deny is bonkers.

***

What I deny and
Repress in myself I self-
Project on others.

What I can't stand in
Myself is "denied, repressed
And self-projected."

***

Hating in others
What we deny in ourselves
Exposes deceit.

Hating in others
What we deny in ourselves
Reveals self-deceit.

***

How we feel about
The year's candidates says more
About us then them.

They're here to expose
Our "denial, repression,
Self-projection" game.

[Rich Note: My latest two "mentors in abstentia," Syd Bands and Dr. David Hawkins, both of whose work dates back 40-50 years --  one whose path to "enlightenment" was purely subjective and the other mostly objective -- clearly document an ongoing, though literally mind-boggling, "paradigm shift" in the Individual and Collective Consciousness of Mankind; a shift which I might suggest is the "Golden Age" or  "New Heaven and New Earth" of which Scripture Speaks.

Hay-Ku of the Day (Are We Crazy?)

Ever harder to
Accept "self-centeredness" as
A sane premise.

Egocentric mind
Is a calculator that thinks
It's a computer.

***

Ignorance of the
Creative nature of thought
Is destroying us.

Given our current
World situation the One
Way Out is Within.

***

Belief in Being
Other than I Am results
In Self-Ignorance.

Self-knowledge is the
Missing ingredient that makes
Our ideas half-baked.

***

The One Sane Premise
For Relative Being is
An Absolute Source.

[Rich Note: Called forth by the follow Syd Bank's quotes from "The Missing Link":

"The malfunction of our own personal thought system instigated the breakdown of personal relationships and leads to the crumbling of societies, causing unnecessary suffering and sadness.

"The misled thoughts of humanity, alienated from their inner wisdom, cause all violence, cruelty and savagery in this world.

"Since the beginning, the state of any society is s direct result of its conditioned way of thinking." ]

Hay-Ku of the Day (Absolute Simplicity and Infinite Complexity)

Nothing more simple
Than One or more complex
Than a Multitude.

At the Center is
Oneness on the Circumference
Is a Multitude.

***

Nothing more Simple
Then Awareness or complex
Than self-awareness.

Nothing more Simple
Then Awareness or complex
Than self-reflection.

**^

Nothing more Simple
Then Awareness or complex
Than self-conception.

Nothing more Simple
Then Awareness or complex
Than relative thought.

[Rich Note: Inspired by the following Saint Therese of Lisieux Facebook quote by  posed by Francis Bennett today:

SIMPLICITY

"The more one comes into union with God, the simpler and simpler one becomes. I love only simplicity. I have an absolute horror for any pretense."]
